One core thing I’ve learned after more than 30 years of leadership and mentoring/coaching experience is that it is the rare leader who takes enough time to gain high-level perspective and to solidify a strategic vision. It is even more rare when they pair it with concrete implementation plans. Yet, putting both together is what truly empowers your people and organization to see it come to fruition.

My personal mission statement – uncovered and crafted during my own LifePlan facilitated by Jeff Lucas – is “to help people and organizations come fully alive and be catalyzed toward excellence.” I’ve found nothing does this more effectively than my Thrive Hound work using LifePlan and StratOp. I find great joy in coaching others through time-tested and carefully designed steps to understand and achieve their purpose – and their organization’s – to create a lasting, dynamic organization and life-affirming legacy.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I spent most of my years in Washington and Alaska. Since 2012, I am home-based in Colorado and working across the country. My wife Becky is a gifted therapist and magnet for family and friends seeking life wisdom. We both are deeply invested in our family. We have three grown children and four grandchildren – the delights of our lives. A proud member of The Twelves (Go Seahawks!), I’m also a Broncos fan, outdoor enthusiast, avid reader, tennis player, and golfer. My deepest joy is to help others find greater avenues to truly thrive: vocationally, personally and all other domains of life.
